The Patriot debuted May 8, 2009 and is owned by Mike and Linda Williams.

The Patriot is a locally owned and operated weekly print and online newspaper. The goal of The Patriot is to cover news and sports in Pulaski County and surrounding area … with a focus on good news, promotion of the county and New River Valley area, local opinion and helpful information … and to connect businesses to customers. The Patriot will strive to promote conservative values honoring God, Family and Country.

The print edition of The Patriot is distributed free each week on Fridays at select locations across Pulaski County, Wythe County and Radford. Paid home delivery is available ONLY to residents within the town limits of Pulaski and Dublin.   The Patriot website is updated daily with news, sports, obituaries and more.
